Workshop Summary
 

During this five-day professional learning experience on behalf of FableVision Learning, educators explored how creativity can be successfully integrated into math learning through both/and creative practice – building Knowledge (and) Discovery expanding ‘ishful’ thinking, nurturing a growth mindset grounded in authentic collaboration.

Facilitated by expertise in deliberate creative practice for PreK–5 education, the workshop invited teachers to connect the dots between Creativity & Math – through storytelling, hands-on exploration and reflective dialogue. Participants engaged in creative math activities that fostered new perspectives and strengthened their capacity to design psychologically safe classrooms where creative mathematical thinking can thrive.

By week’s end, teachers had not only deepened their professional understanding, but also reignited their own creative confidence. They left ready to Create Bravely, bringing joy, imagination, and collaboration into their math teaching, and extending that spirit to students, colleagues and families across their learning communities.​
